PUEBLO – The holiday season is over, and if you want to get rid of your Christmas tree in the Steel City, then you’re in luck.

The Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment is teaming up with RockWorx to have a free Christmas tree recycle spot on North Vision Ln. on Pueblo’s east side.

“It’s important to recycle your Christmas tree so it is not left out in the yard or illegally dumped around Pueblo, and it can be reused as mulch,” said Sarah Joseph with the Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment.

This service is free until January 18th. The trees will then be turned to mulch after January 21st.
