COLORADO SPRINGS – Rain, snow or twenty below, is this year’s motto for El Paso County Search and Rescue as they prepare for tomorrow’s 41st Rescue Run.

The event this year will be held at Palmer Park.

For the group, it’s the biggest fundraiser of the year.

“The race will be all on paved road, no trails, and we’ll go up the hill,” said Co-Race Director Teresa Taylor. “10K will split off and go in the dog park, and 5K will make a little shorter loop. Everybody will come back to that start line, where we will have some hot drinks for everybody.”

Pre-race registration will start at 8:30 a.m., the race starts at 10.

The cost to enter is $35 and 10 extra bucks will get you a tee shirt.
