Second person dies after triple shooting in Denver

DENVER – A man is in jail and another man died overnight after a triple shooting in Denver early Saturday morning.

Two men and a woman were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds after a shooting at an apartment complex on East Alameda Avenue west of Havana Street. One man died yesterday, the other died today. The woman was treated and released from the hospital.

29-year old Nicholas Dansby, was arrested by the Denver police on Saturday night. Dansby is being held for investigation of first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Police said they’re not looking for any other suspects but have not said what motivated the shooting or if there’s any connection between Dansby and the victims.
