Law enforcement in Pueblo looking for home invasion suspects

PUEBLO – The Southern Colorado Safe Streets Task Force is on the hunt for 42-year-old Mary Arguello and 37-year-old Joseph Bader on charges related to the robbery of a man during a home invasion in Pueblo.

The Sheriff’s Office reports the 57-year-old victim was attacked by a woman and a masked man on the night of November 23rd. He told investigators a woman came knocking on the door of his home on the 800 block of Frontier Street asking to use the phone to call for help because she was beaten by her boyfriend.

As soon as the man returned with his phone, the man in the mask came up to the door and threatened the victim with a gun. He was thrown to the floor before his hands were tied behind his back.

The suspects stole the man’s 2001 gold Cadillac sedan, wallet, cell phone, and a hunting knife, machete and three guns.

Investigators have not detailed how they’ve linked Arguello or Bader to the crime.

Arguello faces charges for robbery, burglary, vehicle theft, felony menacing, theft, harassment, plus outstanding warrants for drug and traffic offenses.

Bader faces charges for burglary, plus outstanding warrants for vehicle theft, harassment and driving under restraint.
