LARKSPUR – CDOT has reopened SB I-25 at Upper Gulch Lake Road following a fatal auto-pedestrian crash early Monday morning.

Troopers said a box truck hit a man who died at the scene a little around 4:18 a.m. Monday. The crash shut down the interstate for about four hours while troopers investigated and cleaned up the scene.

Troopers have not said if the driver was arrested or why a pedestrian was on the interstate. The victim was also not identified.

The crash caused backups on both sides of the interstate during the morning rush hour.
