COLORADO SPRINGS – CDOT is warning drivers of possible traffic impacts on northbound I-25 Tuesday morning and afternoon in Colorado Springs.
Crews will be striping lanes between Garden of the Gods Road and Woodmen Road from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. Most of the construction on the interchange happened in the overnight hours, but due to the striping material, it must be applied during daytime hours.
Lane restrictions will be mobile, meaning that trucks will move through the work zone as they apply the striping.
Please be cautious if you’re driving in the area.
The project, which installed asphalt over existing bridges to eliminate bumps and extend the life of the highway, is expected to wrap up in December.
