CHAFFEE COUNTY — Monarch Mountain has opened the ski areas first-ever tubing park.
The ribbon was cut and first rides taken on the hill this week and the attraction will stay open through the ski season. All ages are welcome in tubing park, but children 6 years old and younger need to be with an adult at all times.
Tickets are available at Monarch Mountain and will cost $24 per hour of riding and an additional cost of $14 per hour for each hour after that. The tubing hill will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays.
