COLORADO- While hundreds of Black Friday shoppers are out getting gifts and items at the malls and shopping centers, Colorado Parks & Wildlife is hoping you’ll spend some time outdoors.
On Friday Nov. 23rd admission to all state parks is FREE.
It’s an effort called ‘Fresh Air Friday,’ in a press release Parks and Wildlife encourages people to go ‘exploring [in] a state park, skiing in the high country, or playing a game of freeze tag in the backyard.’
All for 41 Colorado state parks are free to everyone on Friday, including Cheyenne Mountain State Park and Lake Pueblo State Park.
If you plan on participating, you’re encouraged to share your adventures online with the hashtag #FreshAirFriday.
