COLORADO SPRINGS – Police have arrested a man suspected of stabbing and seriously injuring a woman following a manhunt and a tense night for a Colorado Springs neighborhood.
Colorado Springs officers arrested 27-year-old Alexander Jasmine a little before midnight Thursday.
The search for Jasmine began shortly after police responded to a stabbing call around 5:40 p.m. Thursday in the 900 block of Holli Springs Lane, near Centennial Boulevard and Vondelpark Drive.
Police sent out emergency notifications to residents the area of Vondelpark and North Chestnut St. telling them to lock their doors and windows.
The victim suffered serious injuries but is now stable. Her name has not been released.
