PUEBLO – Here’s something the whole family can enjoy through the weekend. The circus is in town, but this one has a whole new twist. Cirque Italia is the first animal-free water circus and it opens tonight in Pueblo.

The stage alone holds 35,000 gallons of water and the show brings in performers from all over the world.

Performers are always challenged to create new acts so that audiences can expect a new show each year!
Instead of animals, expect to see acts like mermaids, dinosaurs, a laser man and chair stacker. Of course, there will be traditional circus acts like juggling, high wire, and contortion as well.

Not only is the show geared for families, but it’s also made up of several families! In fact, some have even been a part of the circus for several generations.

You can get tickets online at cirqueitalia.com or come by the box office. It’s right outside the big blue and white tent at the State Fairgrounds.
