EL PASO COUNTY – El Paso County deputies have arrested two men linked to a July murder.
Deputies said Terrel Hall, 20, and Colin Kellet, 26, are facing charges of first-degree murder and burglary in the shooting death of 47-year-old Gustavo Del Sol Sanchez.
The shooting happened on early in the morning on July 22 in the 12000 block of Highway 94, between Colorado Springs and Ellicott.
A second shooting victim drove himself to Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs and told deputies Sanchez was dead at the scene.
Deputies found Sanchez’s body and then received a tip that heavily armed men involved in the shooting were located about 25 miles to the south at a possible illegal marijuana grow near Hanover.
That’s where El Paso County deputies shot and killed another suspect in connection to Sanchez’s death, 18-year-old William Bacorn, later that morning.
Deputies said they investigated for four months before announcing the arrests of Hall and Kennet.
