COLORADO SPRINGS – Numerous restaurants and some other businesses are showing their appreciation for those who have served our country for Veterans Day.

Most restaurants will require veterans to present their military ID or veteran ID card in order to redeem the free items or discount.

Applebees: Applebees is offering free meals to veterans on Sunday, Nov. 11. Vets can choose from eight options that range from burgers to salads.

BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse: All veterans and current service members can get a free entree that is less than $12.95on Sunday, Nov. 11. Active military and veterans can also get a free pizookie for the entire month of November.

Buffalo Wild Wings: BWW is offering afree order of small wings and fries to any active duty or former military members on Nov. 11.

California Pizza Kitchen: California Pizza Kitchen restaurants are offering free entrees for veterans and active duty military members. Options include pizzas, pasta and salads on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Chili’s: Veterans and active military members can receive a choice of six free entrees from Chili’s locations on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Chipotle: Chipotle restaurants are offering buy one get one free burritos and burrito bowls. The deal is valid for active military, veterans and military families on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Cracker Barrel: Veterans and active military members can get a complimentary crafted coffee or a free slice of Double Fudge Chocolate Cake on Nov. 11.

Denny’s: Active military and veterans get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam on Monday, Nov. 12 from 5 a.m. to noon.

Dunkin’: Dunkin’ is offering a free donut to all active military or veterans on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Famous Daves: On Sunday and Monday, Famous Dave’s BBQ is offering a free “two-meat salute” to active military and veterans.

Golden Corral: Golden Corral locations are offering afree dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to any current or former servicemember on Monday Nov. 12.

On The Border: Veterans and active duty military members can get a free create your own combo meal at On The Border restaurants on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Outback Steakhouse: Outback Steakhouse restaurants are offering veterans a free Bloomin Onion and beverage on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Red Lobster: Red Lobster is offering active duty military and veterans a free appetizer or dessert from a special menu.

Red Robin: Veterans and active duty military can enjoy a free “Red’s Tavern Double Steakburger” and unlimited fries on Sunday, Nov. 11.

Starbucks: Veterans, active duty service members and military spouses can get afree tall hot coffee at participating Starbucks locations on Nov. 11, 2018.

Texas Roadhouse: Texas Roadhouse is offering free lunches to all veterans, including active duty servicemembers from a 10-item Veterans Day menu on Sunday, Nov. 11.
