COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police tell News 5 they’re investigating a fatal shooting in downtown Colorado Springs Thursday morning.
Police said a man was found around 2:15 a.m. Thursday on the first floor of a parking structure near the intersection of Cascade and Kiowa.
CSPD said officers and firefighters tried to save the man’s life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made. Police said they do not have any suspect information and they are asking businesses in the area for surveillance video to assist in their investigation.
CSPD also said the area will be an active crime scene for several hours.
