COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs School District 11 announced Monday that Doherty High School will remain closed for the rest of the week.
The school announced Sunday that a broken water line would cancel classes Monday. That closure has now been extended due through Friday due to “extensive cleanup process and pipe replacement efforts” at the school.
D11 said alternative plans are being made for parent-teacher conferences scheduled this week. The district also said plans for extracurricular activities will be announced through the school district website, social media and D11 Loop.
Those plans will be announced by 4 p.m. Monday.
