EL PASO COUNTY – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office released the identity of a woman killed Tuesday morning in Falcon.
Deputies said 42-year-old Courtney Jackson was found dead in her home off of Mount Wilson Place, near Londonderry Drive and Mt. Princeton Drive. Investigators are now classifying her death as a homicide.
Forty-five-year-old Thomas Jackson was taken into custody in connection to her death around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Jackson faces a charge of First Degree Murder and he’s being held at the El Paso County jail.
Deputies have not yet said how Jackson was killed, but they said they were dispatched to the home on a report of a shooting.
