COLORADO SPRINGS – Colorado Springs Police are investigating two robberies that happened just minutes apart Thursday morning.
The first happened at a business in the 3800 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue around 4:50 a.m. and minutes later another one happened in the 400 block of North Murray Avenue.
In both cases, the robber had a handgun and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Police describe the suspect as a black man in his early 20’s, wearing white pants, a dark hoodie, and a dark bandana covering his face.
