FREMONT COUNTY – Deputies are searching for an armed and dangerous suspect that reportedly shot a homeowner during a burglary in Florence Tuesday.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a burglary with shots fired on County Road 119 in Florence Tuesday afternoon. The sheriff’s office said the suspect fled the area on foot and is being considered armed and dangerous.
The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black hoodie and blue jeans, with facial hair and possibly armed with a gun. The Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who lives on County Road 119 to stay indoors as deputies search for the suspect.

The homeowner was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Highway 119 will remain closed during the investigation.
