According to investigators, there was a domestic dispute inside the Stetson Hills home when Motsinger grabbed his gun and then got into a struggle over the weapon with Maroo.

Motsinger pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of reckless manslaughter earlier this summer. After serving his 10-year prison sentence he’ll be under community supervision while on parole for 3 years.
