PUEBLO WEST – Cedar Ridge Elementary introduced a new playground that is meant for all kids with features built in to accommodate students with special needs.
A parent tells News5 who says this playground is a dream come true that will help her son.
“My own son Colton is a pre-schooler here and this will give him an opportunity to play with his peers at recess but also creates a good opportunity for our family to play together,” said Jill West.
The playground cost about $180,000 that was made possible by state money and donations. It’s an effort that took 18-months. Friday was dedication day for the new playground.
