TELLER COUNTY- The 26th annual ‘Salute to American Veterans Rally’ is back in Teller County this weekend.
Thousands of motorcyclists took off from Woodland Park Saturday morning for the ride to Cripple Creek.
The rally will continue through the weekend with a variety of events creating a big economic boom for the town.
Riders came from all over the country, as far as Alaska even to make the ride.
‘One of the main reasons was I wasn’t there but I still care, that’s kind of my motto because if it wasn’t for the guys that fought for our freedom none of us would be here,’ said F.C. Dobbs, a motorcyclist at the event on Saturday.
