Pueblo Police searching for two armed robbery suspects

PUEBLO – Pueblo Police are searching for armed robbery suspects who officers say held up an American Pawn location off of N. Elizabeth Friday night.

Police said two Hispanic men with gloves on and masks over their faces tried to rob an Advance America location on Prairie Avenue, but stopped when the door was locked.

Police then said the men went to the American Pawn off of N. Elizabeth Street around 6 p.m. and robbed the business at gunpoint.

Police said no one was hurt in the robbery,.

Officers said they tracked down the suspect vehicle a short time later near 14th and Troy Ave. They recovered the vehicle and began searching for the men, but were unsuccessful.

Police said one suspect is wearing a grey shirt with blue jeans and a black Brooklyn Nets cap. The other is wearing a royal blue shirt with black pants and a light colored New Orleans Saints cap.
