COLORADO SPRINGS – One person is dead and investigators are on the scene after fire crews knocked down a blaze in a multi-unit home in the 600 block of Lakewood Cr. off of Airport Rd. and Academy Blvd.
Reportedly, three people were in the home when the fire broke out. One person had to be rescued and life-saving measures were taken.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The identity of the fire victim has not been released. Expect to find streets blocked off in the area.
