COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Police Department is investigating a shooting that left two men injured.
Around 12:31 a.m. Sunday officers were dispatched to the area of E. Dale St. and N. Circle Dr. to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two men with gunshot wounds, one to the torso and the other to the arm. Both victims were taken to the hospital. Their condition is unknown.
The preliminary investigation indicates a disturbance that happened between individuals who were attending a private event being hosted at Old School Tavern, located at 2945 Galley Road. Authorities say during the disturbance, an unknown suspect produced and discharged a firearm, hitting the two victims.
