PUEBLO — Volunteers are making it easier for people experiencing homelessness to practice proper handwashing.
People from several organizations in Pueblo made mobile handwashing stations at Pueblo Community College.
When complete, the stations will be put in places around town for easy access to those who need them.
"The homeless, they may have a hard time getting into a business or just finding clean water anywhere so this provides them an opportunity to be able to sanitize and just get some clean water," said Gabriel Lucero, Upward Bound Director at PCC.
The group made about 10 washing stations on Friday.
