COLORADO SPRINGS — El Paso County Health and the City of Colorado Springs are asking people to "mask up."
Friday some of those on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19 to tell their stories helped as they launched the #MaskUpCOS campaign.
It's an effort to remind us not to let our guard down, as coronavirus numbers in the county show the masks do make a difference.
"It has been effective because as we see spikes, we see that they then are well controlled, and we'll see them peter out, and that's what we want," said El Paso County Medical Director Robin Johnson.
Those living in the Springs and El Paso County can expect a big push for the campaign, urging everyone to wear masks while out in public.
