COLORADO SPRINGS — Four individuals tested positive for COVID-19 across Academy District 20 on Thursday.
There was one positive case at each Prairie Hills Elementary, Discovery Canyon Campus Middle School, Discovery Canyon Campus Elementary School and Pine Creek High School.
All four individuals who tested positive are at home in isolation, and those who were in close contact with the individuals were notified and are in quarantine.
There is also an individual from the district’s New Opportunities Program who had COVID-like symptoms, and all close contacts with that individual are in quarantine. The program will move to online learning beginning Friday and will return to in-person learning on Oct. 21.
