COLORADO SPRINGS — El Paso County Public Health is investigating after three people who work for RATP-Dev, Mountain Metro Transit's fixed route contractor, tested positive for COVID-19. The employees who tested positive include one driver and two other employees.
MMT says the employees have not been at work since October 26, and other staff members who might have been exposed are in self-isolation and following testing protocol.
El Paso County Public Health is investigating the outbreak, and encourage anyone who used MMT fixed route service from Oct. 19-26 to monitor for symptoms, and get tested if they develop.
MMT says all buses are thoroughly cleaned every evening with products approved for coronavirus disinfecting, and drivers and passengers must wear masks.
