BOULDER – Cold weather and a snow-covered Folsom Field didn’t dampen spirits at CU Boulder’s graduation.
Thursday’s ceremony was cut short due to weather, but the university still handed out 8,500 degrees.
The commencement speaker was Savannah Sellers, an alumna and correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC.
Many graduates took the weather in stride and with humor, showing up in ski goggles, snow boots, and onesies. An impromptu snowball fight even broke out to liven up the festivities.
