BRECKENRIDGE – The Breckenridge City Council has decided to say goodbye to the giant 15-foot Troll, Isak Heartstone.

The Summit Daily reported that the council voted Tuesday to remove the artwork. When this will happen has not been decided.

The huge troll was popular with visitors, but reportedly caused problems for nearby homeowners. Illegal parking, littering, and a loss of privacy were some of the issues reported.

The City Council had originally voted to keep the troll and make a decision on his fate in the spring, but even with the arrival of winter weather, crowds kept coming and sealed Isak’s fate.
