COLORADO SPRINGS – Crews at The Broadmoor are getting ready for the holidays.

The first of thousands of lights are now being put up ahead of The Broadmoor’s annual display. Crews are getting ready for a special event at Seven Falls that not only fills the canyon with lights, but will help the community.

The Broadmoor is having their annual “Holiday Light Ceremony” on November 17th, and a portion of the proceeds will go to benefit the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission and the Empty Stocking Fund.

“We’ll open the park that morning at 9 a.m. and we’ll go until 8 p.m. that evening, that will be when the last ticket sale is,” said Dean Dewald. “There won’t be an actual ceremony, but we’ll turn on the lights at 5:30 p.m. There will just be activities throughout the day.”

To get to the falls, you will need to catch the shuttle from The Broadmoor.

Santa and free hot chocolate will also be on hand.
