PUEBLO – A person is recovering from injuries after a carjacking in the 1700 block of E. 7th St. in Pueblo Wednesday night. Pueblo police say that a shot was fired during the carjacking and the victim was either grazed by the bullet or they were cut by shattered glass.

Pueblo police Sergeant Frank Ortega tells News5 that this is the second time the car has been stolen. He says the first time, the car was not returned when a woman borrowed it from the owner. Police were able to recover the car and it was returned. This time, the woman returned with a male friend who fired the shot at the owner and drove off.

Sgt. Ortega says they’re looking for a 2009 Maroon Saturn Aura, with Colorado license plate 744-WHV. Ortega says if you do see the car, don’t approach the vehicle and contact police immediately.
