ORLANDO, Fla. – Starting on Wednesday, Disney has officially banned smoking at its theme parks and water parks in California and Florida.
The new policy was announced in March. Smoking also won’t be allowed at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Downtown Disney in California.
Smoking areas will still be available outside the parks and those entertainment areas. Disney Springs in Florida and the company’s hotels also will have smoking areas.
The parks are also barring large strollers and stroller wagons that are more than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long. The park says it’s part of an effort to increase crowd flow.
