PUEBLO – A piece of Pueblo is being spruced up in the Belmont area.
Highway 47 and Troy Ave. are getting restored and will act as a gateway for CSU Pueblo.
Volunteers have been cleaning up the area over the past few weeks.
The next step in the project will be putting in plants that represent the university’s colors.
“This will really increase and enhance the entrance and also the gateway into the north side,” said Bill Zwick, Capital Projects Manager.
There will be a volunteer event on April 20th.
The city of Pueblo hopes to have this done by the end of the summer.
