Heavy wind coming for Monday afternoon…

Summary: After a tranquil weekend, an old and dying storm will push through the northern half of the state Monday. That squeezes the pressure over us, and forces it through the passes like your thumb on a hose. Expect a lot of huffing and puffing Monday for the afternoon, but only the mountains get snow showers, and the far eastern counties, maybe a brief PM shower. Other than that, it’s quiet Tuesday…warmer Wednesday, and then later Thursday…looks like a repeat of Monday…with winds 20-40, with higher gusts.

Meanwhile, when you read in the forecast below, “chaotic skies”, interpret that to mean widely varying skies from hour to hour, and when it’s cloudier, all kinds of odd clouds in those skies…fyi.
