COLORADO SPRINGS – City Auditorium was the place to be Saturday for people looking to keep their New Year’s resolutions to get into better shape.

The annual Colorado Springs Fitness Expo is a chance for local business owner to showcase their services and encourage the community to pursue a healthier lifestyle.

News 5 spoke with one local health and life coach who said the key to keeping those resolutions is making healthy living a habit.

“When we haven’t built the habits to keep up those behaviours that often become kind of short-term, the resolutions, if you don’t build the habits and build the kind of foundation for keeping that up, it’s all going to fall apart,” said Paige Norton.

Some of the free classes at the event included a Zumba party, hot hula fitness, and a shakti dance performance.
