Short Story: Monday…Snow, wind, bitter cold. Tuesday, clearing, bitter. Wednesday and beyond, bright & much warmer!

Summary: A bubble of High Pressure departs tonight, and the Polar Express is going to roar through town late tonight and Monday morning. Monday will be bitterly cold, with dangerous wind chills, and wind-driven snow showers. There will be very little accumulation in the Plains, but when it does snow there, visibility will be poor, and you still get the wind and bitter cold. The I-25 corridor gets more snow, mostly between 2-5″, maybe the high end or a bit more for Beulah, Rye, Colorado City, and points further south (Trinidad). Monday night, flurries will be winding down by Midnight, but temps will be hovering in the single digits, and wind chills -10 or worse.

Rapid clearing Tuesday morning, bitterly cold. And then, another wild swing in temps begins, Wednesday.

Speaks for itself! Radical swings coming, both ways!
