CAÑON CITY – The Colorado State Patrol continues to investigate a deadly auto-ped crash early Thursday that they now say killed a 55-year-old man.
Troopers say the man was crossing Highway 50 around 5:15 a.m., wearing dark clothing, when he was hit and killed by a passing vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle, 29-year-old Timothy Olivas of Pueblo was not hurt.
Alcohol and drugs are not considered factors, the exact cause remains under investigation.
