COLORADO SPRINGS – Just after 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, officers with the Colorado Springs Police Department responded to the 3700 block of Astrozon Blvd. on a reported found body.
When officers arrived, they found an adult female in a field, off a trail with an apparent traumatic injury. CSPD said the Colorado Springs Fire Department responded to the scene and confirmed the death.
The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Violent Crimes Section then responded to the scene and assumed responsibility for the investigation. CSPD said the death is being investigated as a homicide.
