EL PASO COUNTY – Ballots for Election 2018 are in the mail. The Clerk and Recorders in El Paso County and Pueblo County say they sent out ballots Monday.

Voters will have a lot to decide this year. In Pueblo the ballot is one sheet with two sides. In El Paso County there are two sheets with two sides. “For the first time in 20 years in El Paso County we’re going to be at two sheets,” said Clerk and Recorder, Chuck Broerman.

The larger, two sheet ballot will require extra postage for people who choose to send it back in the mail. There is also the option of using ballot drop off boxes.

Registered voters should get their ballot by the end of the week. I you do not receive a ballot by the weekend, check with your Clerk and Recorder election staff to see if there is a problem.
