COLORADO SPRINGS – A man found dead in a double shooting in the 1600 block of Howard Ave has been identified.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office identified the man as 33-year-old Sheldon King of Colorado Springs. Officers responded to the address on reports of shots fired just after 11 a.m. Sunday.
Officers found two men with apparent gunshots wounds inside the home. One man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead two days later.
The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified that man as 68-year-old Frank Dillard. Police believe Dillard shot King before turning the gun on himself.
