TRINIDAD – The Trinidad Police Department arrested one of its own officers Wednesday after an investigation into possible misconduct.
Trinidad Police arrested Officer Austin Proctor on suspicion of stalking, a felony, and a misdemeanor charge of harassment.
Proctor was taken to the Huerfano County jail and his bond was set at $5,000. Proctor has since bonded out.
Trinidad Police said they first received tips about Proctor on Sept. 4 and conducted an investigation prior to his arrest.
