COLORADO SPRINGS – A woman was reportedly run over by her “estranged husband” in the 2600 block of Mason Way Monday evening.
Sand Creek Division officers were dispatched to the reported domestic disturbance just before 4:30 p.m. Officers said the victim was being treated by Colorado Springs Fire crews and medics upon arrival.
She was then transported to a local hospital where it was determined she was run over by a car driven by her husband, according to CSPD. The suspect, identified Jose Soltero, was reportedly taken into Colorado Springs Police custody later that day.
The Colorado Springs Domestic Violence Unit will assist police in the investigation.
