COLORADO SPRINGS – A recent survey revealed that Colorado Springs is the country’s fourth most “business friendly” city. Who would’ve known!

According to Thumbtack’s 2018 Small Business Friendliness Survey, 57 cities were ranked based on eight factors including licensing requirements, tax regulations and labor and hiring regulations. 7,500 small business owners were surveyed, according to a release.

The small business owners gave Colorado Springs an A+ rating out of the 57 cities surveyed. Ranking Colorado Springs at the number four spot, still in the top five, we’ll take it!

These evaluations were reportedly seven percent better than last year, receiving a B rating, according to the city. Colorado Springs did score higher than Denver this year and ranked 30th overall on the state level.

The city was however ranked in a top spot for training and networking programs. “A”s  were given in a number of categories including employment, labor, hiring regulations and licensing regulations.
