PUEBLO – A man is in the hospital after a shooting in the Sunset Plaza parking lot near the state fairgrounds in Pueblo Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the scene near Prairie Avenue and Amherst Avenue around 11:30 p.m., where they found the victim who had possibly been shot up to three times. He was transported to the hospital, but his condition is unknown.
Police say the male suspect left the scene in what’s believed to be a silver four door vehicle. He has not been identified and police did not release a description. Investigators are looking at surveillance footage to get more information about what led up to the shooting.
