Colorado Springs – The SWAT team and other Colorado Springs officers are at a home in the 1400 block of Shadberry Court after an alleged robbery suspect was barricaded inside a home. The home is off of Palmer Park Blvd. and Sanderson.
The suspect was taken into custody at about 6:20 a.m. this morning. When police arrived at the home, there were several people inside. Three of those were taken into custody.
Police believe the suspect was allegedly involved in a robbery in the 700 block of Chapman Drive on Tuesday night.
Police say a victim was lured to Chapman Drive by a female he had recently met. After they got there, the woman and another female escorted him to a darkened area where he was confronted by an armed man who robbed him.
When officers arrived, they were able to track the suspect to the house on Shadberry Lane.
