Roughly 1400 customers are without power in the Cimarron Hills area off of Highway 24 and Hathaway Drive.
Colorado Springs Utilities crews are working to restore power to everyone affected by 9:30 this morning. The utility believes the outage was caused by some kind of equipment failure.
Many stop lights may be out in the area, make sure to treat those as four way stops.
