A free ‘Summer Symphony and Fireworks’ celebration will be held at Memorial Park on Wednesday, July 4th. Fort Carson and the 4th Infantry Division will be hosting a ‘Freedom Fest Friday’ from June 29 through July 1 at Iron Horse Park. The three-day event is open to the public Friday and Sunday, but Saturday will be reserved for Department of Defense ID holders and their guests. The Dinosaur Resource Center is celebrating July 4th with military personnel as a way to say thank you. Active and retired military will receive half off regular admission for the event. Cañon City – The Cañon City City Council has postponed the 4th of July fireworks display due to high fire danger. A determination on whether to hold display is yet to be made – but the likely day is for Labor Day weekend or New Year’s Eve.

‘Sup Yoga and Lunch’ – Looking for something a little more relaxing for your Independence Day celebration? This event at Palmer Lake from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on July 4.
