Primary election to decide many offices in Fremont County

There are only Republican candidates running for office in Fremont County government this year, meaning the primary election will like decide who these local leaders will be in 2019 and beyond.  Republicans Justin Grantham, Stacy Seifert, and Randy Keller are running unopposed on for Clerk and Recorder, Assessor and Coroner respectively.

There is no incumbent candidate in the race for Sheriff. The three candidates running tonight are Clint Robertson, a retired Sergeant with the Canon City Police Department, Allen Cooper, Deputy Chief of Canon City PD, and Mica Simpleman, a training instructor with the Colorado Department of Corrections.

County Commissioner Debbie Bell in District 2 is being challenged by Dale Carroll. Incumbent Treasurer Kathy Elliott is being challenged by Chief Deputy Clerk Dotty Gardunio.
