Colorado Gubernatorial candidates face off in Colorado Springs

Thursday, Colorado’s Gubernatorial candidates will go head to head on key issues with a debate in Colorado Springs.

The majority of candidates running for the top political position in the state will gather at the Relevant Word Christian Cultural Center to present their chosen topics but will also face some tough questions from moderators.

There are eight candidates hoping to be Colorado’s next leader. Those running on the Democratic ticket include, Mike Johnston, Cary Kennedy, Donna Lynne, and Jared Polis.. The Republican nominees are, Greg Lopez, Victor Mitchell, Doug Robinson, and Walker Stapleton.

If you have yet to cast your vote, it’s not too late. Ballots will be accepted at any polling location until 7 p.m., Tuesday, June 26th. If you’ve lost or misplace your ballot, you can pick one up at any voter services or polling location.

The debate will kick off at 7:30 p.m. at the Relevant Word Christian Cultural Center at 1040 South Institute Street.
