The Colorado State Patrol and other agencies are currently negotiating with a man who may have shot at other vehicles on I-25 near mile marker 119, at about 5:00 p.m. Monday evening.
Officers followed the man off of the highway at exit 77. The suspect led police on a chase that ended on Abbey Rd. when the man rolled his vehicle. State Trooper Josh Lewis, tells News 5 that they have to assume the man is armed and dangerous. The man is currently barricaded inside the rolled over vehicle.
Exit 77 is closed on I-25 at this time and you are advised to avoid the area east of I-25.
